Google Plus: The Positive Feedback

Google is used to getting criticism. No question about that. There has so far been plenty about the company’s latest attempt at social media: Google+. Of course it’s not even fully launched yet.

There is also some good feedback about it. A lot of those fortunate enough to get invites actually do like it. You’ve probably seen some of the articles by now.

Google faces many challenges in making this thing a hit, so the company is no doubt glad to see some words of encouragement from users. Here are some of the other more positive reactions we’ve seen from people on Twitter:

Google Plus so far = Google + Buzz + +1 + Facebook + Gmail + Google Contacts + Wave + Picasa + Orkut + Profiles + RSS + Skype. Mind blown. 15 hours ago via TweetDeck · powered by @socialditto

There’s a lot to take in with the launch of Google+. You can go to the product’s landing page and read through that to gather that much. It’s going to be very interesting to see if people are up for using it. The classic invitation-only strategy worked pretty well for cultivating buzz around Gmail years ago. Can Google repeat that success with Google+?
