The English-language version of The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo is set to hit theaters on December 21st. People are generally looking forward to the movie for varying reasons: they were a fan of the original, the loved the books by Stieg Larsson, it’s directed by David Fincher, but for some it’s the soundtrack.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross already won Academy Award for scoring Fincher’s last movie, The Social Network, and as previously reported, they’re together again for The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. Earlier this year we learned that Reznor and Yeah Yeah Yeahs leader Karen O were getting together to cover the Led Zeppelin classic “Immigrant Song”. After hearing that, it left many wondering what theme the rest of the soundtrack would have.
