Windows Phone Gets Siri Clone

It seems that Android users are not alone in wanting to bring Siri to their devices. While Windows Phone users have built-in voice search capabilities – Bing Voice – the platform does not have anything like the functionality Apple brought to the iPhone 4S with Siri.

A new app in the Windows Phone Marketplace aims to change that. Developed by Shai Leib, Ask Ziggy is a free (and ad free) app designed to provide Windows Phone users with a Siri-like app for their own phones. The app – which deserves bonus points for the apparent Quantum Leap reference – has been generally well-received, with a 3.5 star rating (out of 5) in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

The app allows users to perform a variety of tasks, from finding movie trivia and stock quotes to checking weather and doing basic math. A video from the developer’s website is embedded below. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments.
