Normally, I wouldn’t give vile, hate-spewing, bigoted jackasses like @LGBTFacts the time of day, but this is simply too funny to pass up.
@LGBTFacts is a Twitter account solely devoted to “spreading the truth about the abhorrent homosexual lifestyle.” In reality, that translates to making up ridiculous claims about LGBT people and presenting them as “facts.” Here are some gems from their feed:

They get more specific and pointed in their “facts,” but you can clearly see what’s at work here.
Now, @LGBTfacts only has about 300 followers – so it’s not like they are some giant force on the social network. But by using extremely popular hashtags like #tcot and #p2 in their tweets, they are most likely able to penetrate some Twitter conversations. At least it looks like they were able to get the attention of some LGBT activists.
Now here’s where this story gets funny. Displeased with the bile being spewed from @LGBTfacts, some people on Twitter decided to turn their handle into a hashtag. And thus began the fighting of hate with humor:
