Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood has revealed that she would like to open a rehab facility.

Portwood explained her plan during an interview with Christian Today.

Portwood has struggled with drug addiction, and was arrested in 2012 for drug possession. She was released after serving 17 months of her five-year sentence, and hopes that she can help others who are struggling with addiction.

“It’s going to be a sort of boot camp rehab,” she said. “[Addicts] have a lot of excuses. Sometimes it takes a little kick in the butt in order to move forward.”

“It’s going to be counseling, everything you can think of that can help somebody, I’m hoping and wanting to put into my facility,” she continued. “Maybe it’s not going to happen very soon, but in the end, before I die, I know that I will have this going on.”

Portwood recently released a tell-all memoir, titled Never Too Late, that goes behind the scenes of her time spent on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom.

“I had been thinking about writing a book since my stay in prison,” she said. “I felt it was time when I got out to actually do it. I think my book is able to give strength and determination to those who are struggling.”

Portwood included intimate details of her struggle in hopes that she could create a deeper connection with her readers. “I want people to read my book with an open mind,” she said. “I also hope my story can reach and help many people.”
