Apple announced today that it will release its Q1 FY12 earnings report on January 24, and will hold its conference call at 2:00 PM PT on that date. This will be available to listeners via a webcast.
The official announcement says:
Apple’s conference call webcast discussing Q1 – 2012 financial results will begin at 2:00pm PT/5:00pm ET on Tuesday, January 24, 2012.
Please note that comments made during this call may include forward-looking statements that are subject to risks and uncertainties, and that actual results may differ materially from these forward-looking statements. For more information on the factors that could influence results, please refer to Apple’s SEC filings.
The results will of course highlight Apple’s performance over the holiday season, which should be very interesting.
Keep in mind, this is also the quarter in which the popular iPhonde 4S will be released. I have a feeling it will have been a good quarter for the company.
It will be interesting to see if any hints regarding the iPad 3 are dropped during the call.
Apple’s Q4 earnings report, released in October, missed estimates, though the company did report all-time record Mac and iPad sales.
The report itself came just after the release of the 4S. At the time CEO Tim Cook said, “Customer response to iPhone 4S has been fantastic, we have strong momentum going into the holiday season, and we remain really enthusiastic about our product pipeline.”
