Christie Brinkley and John Mellencamp are officially dating. The two have been spotted in various locations in New York City, dining and meeting with friends.

Following his appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert earlier this week, Christie Brinkley joined John Mellencamp in the same car and headed out for some fun on the town.

John Mellencamp was most recently linked to actress Meg Ryan. In fact the two dated for about three years before calling it quits just over a year ago. They parted as very good friends.

Christie Brinkley hasn’t dated since her divorce from Peter Cook back in 2008. She was previously married to Billy Joel. In January, Brinkley dished to ET’s Nancy O’Dell about why she wasn’t dating.

“It seems like during this period that most of the guys [I’m dating] are like 38, 39, 42, like that sort of age group,” she said. “It’s funny because I think that at that age they have nothing to prove. They’re very confident and do just what they want to do. [With] men my age, I feel quite invisible to them.”

Christie Brinkley is definitely not invisible. In fact, she’s one of the most naturally beautiful women in her age group. Brinkley has aged gracefully, and is still drop dead gorgeous at 61.
