Emilia Clarke seemingly dropped a big hint about the fate of Jon Snow on Game of Thrones at the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday. Snow was brutally murdered on a previous episode.

Best known for her role as the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen on Game of Thrones, Emilia Clarke served as one of the presenters of the Best First Feature Award at the show.
While on stage with fellow presenter, director Nate Parker, Clarke was badgered a bit about Snow’s fate. When she didn’t give up any information, Parker asked her to “wink if Jon Snow is alive.”
Right before the cameras cut away, Emilia Clarke winked–leaving Game of Thrones fans wondering what will happen next.
Jon Snow, the bastard son of Ned Stark, was fatally stabbed by his supposed allies while defending the Wall in the final episode of season five. In the final scene, Snow lay presumably dead in a pool of blood.

HBO released a new promo poster for the upcoming sixth season of Game of Thrones in recent days. A trailer for season six was released earlier in February.
Did Emilia Clarke let that proverbial cat out of its bag at the Independent Spirit Awards? Or might the whole thing have been a setup, designed to cause serious speculation about the sixth season of Game of Thrones?
