Google is letting some users test its generative AI in practical applications, adding support in Gmail and Google Docs.
Google has been working to catch up to Microsoft in the AI race, making its Bard AI available in a waitlist preview. The company is now rolling out generative AI to its Workspace apps, according to 9to5Google, giving users an opportunity to put the feature through their paces.
Unlike Bard, there is no waitlist to join. Instead, the company is rolling out the preview to its trusted test program, which includes enterprise, education, and consumer users.
Google says it will expand availability “over time.”
