The show has been nominated for two Emmys. One of them is for the title theme, which Barr composed, and is the first track on the soundtrack.
The track listing is as follows: Hemlock Grove, Ice Cream, Shelley’s Email, Crime Scene, Carnival, Aftermath, Is This a Joke?, Killer Wolf, Letha Dreams, Roman and Olivia, Peter Dreams, Land Beyond, Brooke’s Vigil, Longing, Trust Each Other, Screaming Schoolkids and Peter’s Transformation.
The tracks are sold separately for $0.99 a piece if you don’t want to grab the whole thing.
Barr has also worked on other Eli Roth projects Cabin Fever, Hostel, Thanksgiving (the fake trailer in Grindhouse) and Hostel: Part II, as well as on True Blood, The Americans and numerous other movies and TV shows.
We recently learned that they were getting ready for production on Hemlock Grove: Season 2. It’s unclear whether it has actually begun at this point. Either way, it’s due out in 2014.
