Hillary Clinton Parties, Drinks With The Girls

When one thinks of a party girl, one does not automatically think of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. But the notoriously buttoned-up former First Lady let her hair down over the weekend in Columbia during a trip for the VI Summit of Americas, and someone photographed the evidence.

Clinton and her friends–including some bodyguards–drank beer and whiskey and danced to Cuban music at Cafe Havana, and while this may seem pretty un-newsworthy–Hillary drinks beer! Stop the presses!–it was actually sort of a big deal to some of those who were privy to information traded during the Summit talks; mainly, the choice of a Cuban club, since the isolation of Cuba was a main topic at the talks.

Twitter seems to think the Secretary’s night out gave her bonus cool points.

Seriously? Hillary Clinton deals with dictators and tyrants on a daily basis, I think she deserves a drink or two. http://t.co/ZKXXm3hK(image) 1 hour ago via HootSuite ·  Reply ·  Retweet ·  Favorite · powered by @socialditto
