Intel is losing Raja Koduri, its head of graphics, when the company is trying to take on Nvidia and AMD.
Koduri joined Intel five years ago when the company poached him from AMD. Since then, he has headed up the company’s efforts to become a major player in the GPU market, competing with both Nvidia and his former boss, AMD.
After five years at the chipmaker, Koduri announced on Twitter that he is leaving, with Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger responding and congratulating him on his next venture, a generative AI firm Koduri is starting up.
