Jennie Garth made a surprise appearance at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday, closing out Aerin O’Connell’s Intrepid by AOC show with a strut down the catwalk in dark shades of makeup for fall.

“Totally foreign, not my world,” she said about the modeling gig. “I felt nervous for the designer of this dress, I wanted to do well for her and have success for the line. I just met her today and she’s a really nice lady and I want her to do well.”

Garth donned a long-sleeved mini-dress in shades of grey and white that showed off her long legs, and paired it with dark fall colors for the face. While it was a very different look for the sunny blonde mom of three, she said she enjoyed the look.

“I love the eyes and the slightly tousled hair,” she said.

Garth has moved on from her painful divorce from “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli, although during the split she had friends and fans worried about her; when she made an appearance on “Fox And Friends” last August, social media sites blew up with talk of how thin and “unwell” she looked. She has spoken a bit about the divorce, however, and says that she and Facinelli are working on raising their children together as best they can.

“It’s unfortunate,” Garth told Jay Leno. “It happens to the best of us. It’s something that has been really tough, for sure. My husband and I, we grew up together, so we are very important people to each other.”
