Kelly Clarkson has a new title to add to her resume! Not only was she the first ever American Idol, she is now a mommy!

The Stronger singer and her husband Brandon Blackstock welcomed their first child together, River Rose Blackstock, on Thursday, June 12.

“Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :),” Clarkson tweeted on Saturday, June 14.

While Clarkson seems elated to have her baby girl here, her pregnancy wasn’t always smooth sailing. “I vomit a good dozen times a day,” Clarkson told Ellen DeGeneres during an appearance on her talk show in December.

“It’s, like, so gross. And that’s the thing too, you’re not attractive when you’re pregnant. Everybody tells you [that] you glow, and your hair is pretty, and your nails are pretty. That is total crap … I have no glow. Unless it’s, like, something left over from a bad throw up. It’s horrible.”

Clarkson and Blackstock tied the knot in October 2013 and announced that they were expecting a month later. In January 2014, Clarkson revealed that the couple was expecting a baby girl, and claimed that she knew it all along. “We just found out we’re having a girl officially! I knew it! Only a girl could cause this much drama with all this vomiting ha!” she tweeted.
