Renee Zellweger was reportedly ‘all smiles’ at the SeriousFun Children’s Network 2015 Los Angeles Gala last week, and she wore minimal makeup on what most assume is her cosmetically enhanced face.

The Bridget Jones’s Diary star looked far more natural than when she first appeared about seven months ago, looking way less like Renee Zellweger than ever before. It was at the 2014 Elle Women in Hollywood Awards, held at the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills, that her appearance was shocking. In fact, one reporter covering the event gasped.

“Is that Renee?!” the reporter exclaimed.

Renee Zellweger wore minimal makeup at last week’s event, which either drew less attention to any work she may have had done, or was far more complimentary for her 46 years than going all-out glam for the occasion. She accentuated her features with “a tiny bit of blush, light eyeliner, a pop of rose lip color, and light mascara,” according to Us Weekly.

A source says she was “all smiles” when she took the stage.

Renee Zellweger laughed as she took the stage, saying her job for the evening was an easy one. She simply had to introduce singer Natalie Cole.

It will be interesting to learn if more information comes to light about whether Renee Zellweger intentionally had cosmetic surgery seven months ago, or is a very simple procedure went horribly awry, causing her to look so unlike herself and making reporters gasp.

The Renee Zellweger on stage at the SeriousFun Children’s Network 2015 Los Angeles Gala was really quite pretty–although she still didn’t look like the Renee Zellweger fans had come to know and love after so many years in the spotlight.
