It’s been well documented that Conan O’Brien is the greatest game critic of our time. His reviews of Minecraft and Skyrim are some of the best reviews to ever hit gaming. His latest review is perhaps his best.
O’Brien claims that he got the exclusive scoop on the highly anticipated Resident Evil 6. In all reality, he’s playing the demo that will be coming out on September 18. It’s still the first time that anybody outside of the press has played the upcoming demo. In the below video, O’Brien shows that he has what it takes to survive in a zombie apocalypse.
At the end, O’Brien felt that the backstory was too complicated and that zombies should just be zombies. He probably doesn’t know it, but he just listed the main two complaints of Resident Evil fans everywhere. It’s been far too long since we had a simple game that was just the usual zombies instead of the bioterrors that we’ve come to expect out of Resident Evil 5 and 6.
As for the final score, he’s judging the game on a scale of 1 to 1,500 with anything below zero being better than fantastic. He gives a game a 35 which puts at fantastic, but not any better. After playing the demo that came with my copy of Dragon’s Dogma, I couldn’t agree more with O’Brien on this one.
