California based artist Andrew Myers has created a new way to look at portrait painting. The German born painter uses screws to give his work a three dimensional look.

Myers paints the heads of phillips screws and then drills them into a simple pegboard to create a three dimensional painting.

It is no wonder he is trying to make paintings more three dimensional, Andrew Myers main area of expertise is sculptures. Check out his artists site here to view some of his other work. He is a very talented artist. Very innovative.
