Shareaholic, the provider of popular social media buttons for websites, announced some feature updates for its Follow buttons. These include new themes, custom colors, and custom icon ordering.
Shareaholic’s Cameron Seher says in a blog post:
For a while now, we’ve offered a great Shareaholic Follow Button Lineup to help you to get more followers and grow your social influence on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram along with many other social networks.
Now, much like the updates we’ve made to our Share Buttons, we’ve put the power to customize their design in your hands.
For themes, websites can now choose from Classic, Flat Square, Flat Circle, or Sexy. They can then be tailored to the right position, layout, size, and alignment.
You’ll also be able to choose a cusotom icon and background color as well as customize the ordering of the icons. That way you can rearrange services like YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr, and Pinterest in order of relevance or importance.
Earlier this summer, Shareaholic added a total share count option to its share buttons and more sites – including GitHub, Etsy and Houzz – to its Follow button lineup.
