Singing Nun Stuns “The Voice” Italy

Alicia Keys has a talent and ability that is difficult to live up to. Taking one of her songs and trying to do a rendition that does it justice has proven near impossible for many, but that wasn’t the case for a nun who took the stage on “The Voice” in Italy recently.

Sister Cristina Scuccia shocked the judges with her rendition of “No One” and got every single one of them to turn around in their chairs, meaning she could take her pick of coaches to work with. While it’s not clear how lenient the church is on nuns listening to and performing secular music, Sister Scuccia had a group of friends with her to cheer her on backstage and obviously did them proud.

Sister Scuccia isn’t the only singer to blow judges away on a talent competition recently; 7-year old Angelina Jordan Astar did a cover of Billie Holiday’s “Gloomy Sunday” on “Norway’s Got Talent” earlier this month that quickly went viral.
