Yesterday the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced plans to expand its precheck program – Pre✓™ – to an additional 60 airports. The program is currently available at 40 airports nationwide. Those 40 will be getting additional precheck lanes with the recently announced expansion. The changes are slated to happen sometime before the end of this year.

Twitter had plenty to say in response to the TSA announcement. The overall reaction was positive:

Of course, airports jumped in to spread the good news:

Some took issue with the $85 fee the TSA charges travelers who want to participate in the precheck program:

Do you currently participate in the precheck program? If your airport is one of the 60 on the expansion list, will you take advantage of faster check ins with the program?
